LIFESTYLE
Glaucus Atlanticus live in tropical and temperate waters.
They can be found in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans.
Glaucus Atlanticus live a nomadic life, floating wherever the wind takes them.
Occasionally they will 'paddle' to get closer to prey.
Glaucus Atlanticus float upside down on the surface of the ocean by swallowing air, which they store in their stomachs.
If they accidentally get washed ashore, they roll up into balls and only reopen once returned to the water.
